Core RulesOverworld Play

Types of Units

Once the GM determines the map for the overworld, he places units on the map.

Units represent different actors on the map that the GM and the players can control. All units can move up to 2 hexes on their turn.

Unit Types

An army is a unit made of 500 men that occupies a single hex on the map.

An attaché is an NPC you can attach to an army to provide the army with an additional special ability.

Commanders are special units that represent your hero's physical presence as a PC on the map.

Caches are units like perils, except they provide a benefit when recovered from the map.

Perils are units that represent traps or other dangers that occupy a single hex on the map.
