New Tools for OSR+ Game Masters

In a previous post, I talked about setting the stage for realm actions in the OSR+ website. Realm actions are actions you can take in the website like sharing items between heroes’ character sheets, creating global tags for your adventuring party, and more. The first three realm actions are now available!

Now that you can add other users to your party, you're able to perform realm actions on any sheets your party members control.

Let's take a look at what's possible.

Share Items with Other Sheets

If you need to hand off that Demon Armor treasure to your raging barbarian, you can now do this right from your character sheet. First, make sure the player who owns the sheet has added you to their party, then you can click the share icon in your inventory to send the item over.

Create & Send Unidentified Items

This one's for Game Masters. If you have a Game Master (or higher) account, you'll have access to GM Tools, where you can currently Share Items or Create Tags.

With this tool, you can declare supplies and send armament or treasures to any sheet that's owned by a player in your party. You can also send items unidentified, which means the identity of the item will remain unknown and occupy the receiver's inventory until you reveal it.

Create Global Story Tags

Finally, you can create global story tags and assign them to any number of sheets controlled by players in your party.

Players can mark tags as used, and then you can delete them from sheets as desired.

That's all for now! Hopefully these little additions make your life as a GM a little bit easier.
