A Quest of QueensLore

Kireena of House Liria

The hope of our people lives on in the dream of your success.

—Kireena of House Liria

Kireena of House Liria is one of the last visionaries of the High People’s golden age prior to the Fall. Back then, she was an artisan devoted to crafting Muraius’ architecture, but now she dedicates herself to the survival of her people in a broken world. House Liria’s idealism courses through her veins; she believes in the power of beauty and creativity to inspire hope, even amidst ruin.

After the Fall, Kireena took it upon herself to chronicle the fractured history of the High People and their survivors, meditating on their shared future. This living document charts not only the history of Muraius, but her visions for its rebirth, offering practical wisdom and rhetoric. While this act of hope endeared her to the surviving High People, it also marked her as a target for those who would rather see their race’s legacy fade into obscurity, like the Empire of Arcadia.

But with Kireena’s capture at the hands of Inquisitors, she initiated the Calling, an eschaton that signals end times for the High People. Her summons for the High People to abandon Midworld for the Astral Veil remains a divisive one. While her intentions were pure, her misjudgment of the Queen Who Live's survival may lead to a crisis of faith.

On the party, Kireena's optimism sometimes blinds her to the harsh realities of the world of ruin, and her deep connection to Muraius’ ideals sometimes makes her inflexible in the departure from old traditions.
