About Altea

The Altean Kingdoms are ruled by the Lords of Altea, who remain true to the Lords' Alliance and actively resist the Emperor's reign. Its idyllic lands include the provinces of Talvi and Redmain and the isle of Kissaris which abuts the Ocean of Furies. The Alteans are allies to the Tarth in Farlas, and are believed to be distant relatives of the human barbarians to the immediate north, though the Altean kings trace their lineage back to Muraius and the High People, and worship the Altean Gods.

The Altean kings have long fought to keep their borders safe from intrusion by fey creatures who creep into civilization from the Shadowvale. Their countrymen cherish loyalty and tradition.

The Lords' Alliance

The Lords of Altea have long sequestered themselves from global conflict in their fortresses, believing the Decree of the One God to be a distant threat that cannot reach their lands.

A beautiful, windswept isle in the Altean kingdom, Kissaris is home principally to farmers who reside in its single town, Capestia, and worship the Elder God Pharkun. It is curious that the Kissarians worship the Elder Gods, the circumstances of which have been lost to history. Read More
The home of Lord Jäger and his royal line, the land of Redmain is a vast countryside, with rolling plains and even-tempered weather. The people of Redmain have great respect for the woodland trades, and within Castle Jäger, the Lord's council is made up of noble rangers who are charged with the protection of the lands and their people. A province of Altea, Talvi and its dense forests are known throughout the world for their tranquil beauty, but are also legended to be concentrated with magical fey, such as the Faunlin (a subspecies of the Tarth) and other malevolent faerie creatures that have emerged from the Shadowvale.
