About Talvi

A province of Altea, Talvi and its dense forests are known throughout the world for their tranquil beauty, but are also legended to be concentrated with magical fey, such as the Faunlin (a subspecies of the Tarth) and other malevolent faerie creatures that have emerged from the Shadowvale. To outsiders, these are things to be marveled at, but if you ask the commoners who live in Talvi's little towns, they'll tell you a different story, of dark creatures that steal away their babies, and cloven beasts that come hungry for flesh in the dark.

The Talvi people are devout worshipers of the gods of The Sylvan Pantheon, principally Tantavia, the Goddess of the Hunt. Despite their superstitions, Talvi are a curious people who are friendly to outsiders. A Talvi will always lend a hand to a stranger in need.

On Feykind

Fey represent a variety of magical creatures, such as monsters from Shadowvale and beings descended from the Rasa.

The Faunlin

This subspecies of Tarth warred with Farlas for control of the Great Labyrinth and maintain an unsteady relationship with the Alteans.
