About The Ocean of Furies

The warm, tempestuous waters of the Ocean of Furies produces countless shipwrecks due to its unpredicable weather. Giant, prehistoric sea creatures, some of them cast into the Ocean of Furies from Muraius after The Fall, roam the waters in search of prey. No captain, no matter how confident or skilled, would dare cross the world-shaking maelstrom that is the Conamura Chaos at the heart of the ocean.

Despite its treacherous center, the Ocean of Furies affords temperate weather and complex ecosystems full of natural resources to many realms whose shores abut its waters. As such, the western coastlines are host to many critical trade routes between Altea, Telrain, Nithaven, and Mamara.

The Conamura Chaos

The Ocean of Furies is home to plenty of Moby Dicks, in case your PCs might have beef with giant monsters. And of course, there’s always the Conamura Chaos itself: the persistent cataclysm is said to contain the ruins of the God Tree and countless Muraian treasures lost in The Fall.
