The Midworlders are like children, wandering a new earth. We must mentor them, keep them in check with a firm hand.
—Maidenform, Justicar of House Sylvariel
Maidenform was born into the lowest caste of the Daemon by the name Cassandra, and destined to serve the House Sylvariel as a handmaiden. Like many of her kind, she accepted her destiny with grace: to serve the High People, stewards of the God Tree, as a protector and enforcer of Yevna’s will. Yet Maidenform always dreamed of more. She longed to wear the divine armor of the Iphendi, to become a Justicar and embody Yevna’s justice incarnate. For most, such aspirations were foolish, but for Maidenform, they were fate.
Her destiny changed the day she saved the life of Princess Nyn. Where others saw only a nameless Daemon performing her duty, the Queen saw a spark of ambition. She elevated Cassandra's station, paving the way for her to become a Justicar. In time, Cassandra became Maidenform, a sentinel clad in armor intended for Yevna’s chosen.
Prior to The Fall, she completed many quests on Midworld, serving as liaison to the Highgaard of Farlas. Throughout the years of her servitude, she viewed the Midworlders with cautious compassion: children in need of guidance, worthy of Yevna’s grace.
Even after The Fall, her unyielding faith in the sacred bond between the Daemon and the High People remains unbroken. The Fall of Muraius and the destruction of the Great Crystal brought chaos, but Maidenform sees herself as a bulwark against that darkness. During the Long Night, she aided Queen Madeleine II, navigating the treachery of cults intent on destroying Arcanum. And during the latter days of the Prince Regent's rebellion, she joined Exton at Fell Rock.
