The Bridge of Teyat is not made of stone or wood, but of will and vision. It is said to shimmer in the mind's eye, appearing only to those who carry the light of Yevna within them.

The elder scrolls do not fully explain what exactly is the Bridge of Teyat, but it's believed to be a portal linking the Midworld to the Magic City. It is said to have allowed passage to Muraius for those ascending Mt. Helicon, a sacred mountain from which one could glimpse the heavens.

In the aftermath of The Fall, much of the High People's geography was violently reconfigured. Scholars are uncertain of the Bridge's exact location. Some believe it was submerged beneath the Conamura Chaos, trapped within the maelstrom at the heart of the Ocean of Furies, when the Magic City plummeted into the sea. Others maintain that the Bridge still exists, obscured in the mystical snows of Tormsdale’s highest peaks, where the wind whispers melodies of the God Tree's song.

The Bridge is often cited in religious texts as a divine gateway, requiring both spiritual and physical fitness to pass through. It is believed to recognize only those chosen by Yevna, denying entry to the unworthy. These accounts, however, come with dire warnings: for the unprepared, attempting to cross the Bridge can result in madness, spiritual disintegration, or eternal entrapment in the Realm Beyond Realms.

To this day, no conclusive evidence of the Bridge’s location or true nature has been found, though persistent rumors of sightings by adventurers and mystics continue to spark intrigue as they embark on perilous quests.

Adventure Hook

The Bridge of Teyat is a connection between the divine and mortal realms made material. The Bridge can serve as a metaphor for the party’s overall journey, reflecting their struggles and growth in the trials they may experience crossing its threshold.

A Mora seer approaches the party, claiming their dreams have revealed the location of the Bridge of Teyat on a peak in Tormsdale. The party must brave the treacherous journey through the frigid wasteland, facing storms, avalanches, and spectral guardians. Along the way, they learn the seer is not entirely truthful; they are haunted by the spirit of a loved one who is trapped between realms, and they are desperate to use the Bridge to free them.

How will the party balance their quest with the seer’s personal motives?
What trials await them at the Bridge, and how will their beliefs or past deeds shape its response to them?
If the Bridge is found, can the party justify the cost of crossing it?
