The rebel faith demands rebel hearts. Tre'ala's burned brightest among them.
—Captain Gideon Fane
As a Returner sympathizer in Altea, Tre'ala maintained connections with the local Returner resistance while outwardly appearing to submit to the scrutiny of those who feared the Empire's influence abroad. Her story intersects with the broader religious upheaval in Arcadia following the Emperor's Decree of the One God; her interest in Abraxis got her cast out of her faith for what her kinsmen deemed renegade idolatry. But when Imperial agents ultimately infiltrated and then burned down her village, her fears were finally realized. Even so, she chose to remain in contested lands, preserving the old ways and protecting those who still worshipped Abraxis in secret.
In time, rumors spread that the last cleric of Abraxis had survived the Schism, she returned to the faith alongside others clerics like Q'lere de Lune and Astrid Sunfire Starsong.
Her return to the faith under the guidance of Fodel Bersk demonstrates both her resilience and her commitment to religious plurality. During the events at Castle Nephris, she proved instrumental in helping recover the Lantern of Souls and light the Brazier of Abraxis.
