Magda is a cunning Nim cleric who serves as a vizier to the Sultana of Meseampur. Originally from the City of Night Syene, Magda is no stranger to subterfuge. Her haggard features belie a piercing mind always in motion like scythes, calculating the next move in a deadly game of power only the Sha'ir understand.
As a member of Mamara's prophetic cult, Magda is part of the Sultana’s trusted inner circle, offering counsel on matters both spiritual and political. Yet like many of her peers, she harbors her own ambitions, conspiring to destabilize Meseampur’s rule so that preferred heirs from within the Caliphate can assume control over the region when the Rasan tyrant is deposed.
Magda’s relationship with her colleague Lord Donovan is one of cautious collaboration. Both are skilled manipulators, but their shared ambition fosters as much rivalry as alliance. While they occasionally pool their resources to undermine the Sultana, Magda is acutely aware that Donovan is as much a threat as he is an asset.
