Lord Donovan is the polished human face of the Sultana Meseampur's court, a master of charm and manipulation whose every word is a delicate machination. His rise to power as a vizier was due to years of careful duplicity that began on the streets of Al Tufail as a penniless urchin and ended with his ascent to the throne room during the chaos of the Caliphate's downfall.
But all that dirt is in the past, quite literally, and now Donovan wears the finery of the Sha'ir. His richly embroidered robes shimmer with enchantments like the wealth of magical treasures at his disposal.
As a member of the Sha’ir, a cabal of advisors known for their prophetic power, Donovan subtlety sets him apart. Where others invite treachery against the Sultana, Donovan bides his time, ensuring that every move aligns with his broader vision for Mamara’s future. But Donovan's cleverness is matched only by his intense fear of the Sultana's monstrous temper.
