My sister walks a different path than I, yes, that is true. But without her I would have fallen into the Conamura Chaos with the rest of our legacy, in body and mind.
—Vulin of House Isithein, Imra's Brother
Imra of House Valaris is a highly skilled Yevim marksman known for her mastery of the longbow and her fiercely independent spirit. Imra chose a different path than her brother Vulin, who devoted himself to the study of Yevim theology in House Isithein. At a young age, she joined House Valaris and chose to live among humankind in the land of Mordavia.
Imra's experiences during the Fall of Muraius left her deeply distrustful of authority, even among her own people. She witnessed firsthand the brutal coup attempt by the Left Hand, whose agents murdered the Muraian Senate in their bid for power. This tragedy shattered Imra's faith in Muraian stewardship over the world, and left her questioning the very foundations of Yevim society.
In the aftermath of the Fall, Imra found a new purpose fighting alongside Prince Exton Estrise and his nascent rebellion. She admired Exton's willingness to live among the common people, and she believed that the Prince Regent represented the best hope for the Yevim to forge a new path forward in the Midworld. However, Imra remains skeptical of Princess Nyn's claim to the throne, viewing her decision to go into hiding after the Fall as a sign of weakness.
