Travel carefully through the carnival’s wanton lights and pleasures, lest you be lost in frivolity forever.

To the untrained eye, the unadorned caravan that precedes the Carnival appears unremarkable—a series of wagons guided by Mora gypsies along the winding roads. Yet when the caravan stops, a doorway into a realm of kaleidoscopic delights beguiles all those who are able to access it. Visitors speak of impossible treasures on sale as wares, surreal eats from beyond the Veil, and otherworldly entertainment that defies description.
At the heart of the Carnival is the "Wizard in the West," a figure of great speculation among scholars. The Wizard’s true identity remains unknown: some believe he is an ancient Archmage, perhaps belonging to the High People, who abandoned his luxurious perch in the Magic City to wander the earth bringing joy to its people. Others believe he is the legendary Artificer, the very one who created the first Clockwerk heart and thus gave birth to their race.
What distinguishes the Kaleidoscope Carnival from other magical phenomena is its impermanence. The Carnival appears once a decade, staying for only a single night in a random location before vanishing without a trace. Its unpredictability has made it the stuff of legend, drawing both thrill-seekers and skeptics to the ends of the earth in the hope of glimpsing its wonders.
Despite its joyous façade, the carnival is not without dangers. Some say that those who enter its gates never return, while others emerge changed in subtle but profound ways.
