About Albarith

A seat of power in Arcadia, the province of Albarith is the homeland of Lord Gazreth and his royal line. Albarith is a peaceful, scholarly country, with mild weather and beautiful forest made up of giant trees called the Blackwood. Its crystalline lakes, the Mortania and the Nonas Three, are the shores for many idyllic manses in which the Governors of Albarith reside. The Albarithi worship the First-Order God Taelos.

After the Fall, the Albarithi became worshipers of Avestar, due to their being subsumed by the Empire. The Governors vie for control over the Empire through political maneuvering in the Council of Albarith, due to their lineal relationship to the Emperor.

It is rumored the Governors and the Emperor's family work together in secret to thwart the ambitions of the Hierarchate and the Congress of Judges from Grael Fastness, where relatives of the Emperor (his sons and daughter) organize against him.

The Council of Albarith

The Governors of Albarith implement the will of the Emperor from afar, but because of the province’s great distance from Moruin, the Council often interprets the Emperor’s commands to its own advantage.

Birth of the Rebellion

Historians argue that resistance to the Empire began in Grael Fastness, where some of the Emperor’s family was banished when they questioned his Decree. His children grew up in seclusion, having to forge alliances with dangerous adversaries in tight quarters.
