Shieldmaiden's Buckler

Description

This golden, retractable buckler gleams with the emblem of a valkyrie god. When concealed, this buckler resembles a plain bracer. You may depress a button on the bracer to retract the buckler as a reaction. (This is not an activation.) While the bracer is retracted, it confers a defense bonus without imposing a magic point penalty. The mechanism that conceals the bracer is undetectable except under intense magical scrutiny.
