His Twenty Angels

These are the twenty daughters of the One God, who are held in Arcadian mythology to have been created by Mushtarie, the Mother of Creation. These warrior angels shaped the world out of the cold rock that was eternity, floating lifelessly within the emptiness of the void. The Shieldmaidens are avenging angels, resembling valkyries clad in golden armor. Notably, the goddesses Beatrix and Akasha are said to be among the One God's valkyries, though they are worshiped separately by the Altean and Sirokan religions.
