Traveling throughout a radioactive land requires keeping one’s shieldsuit powered, avoiding natural and manmade hazards, and surviving a host of inhabitants, from wild monsters to people who have traded their humanity for power. PCs will need to work together as a party to make their supplies last as they fan farther and farther out into the land.

The ancient obelisks scattered throughout the land serve as waypoints, with magic portals that unlock faraway zones, confer strange benefits to those who discover them, and offer pieces of the puzzle that reveal Moruin’s downfall.
About Point Crawl Exploration
The direction of travel in Masks of Moruin is up to your party: the point crawl allows the players to pursue whatever interests them in any order by following existing trade routes or more dangerous routes, off the beaten path. Their initial goals are set by the Violet Queen’s expeditionary orders.
But as the players explore Moruin, old secrets begin to resurface, and the party may question their allegiance to their overlord. Will they search for the source of the Tones on their own terms, or form new alliances against the Violet Queen?
