The Realms Beyond Realms
The Astral Veil is an infinite void, filled with telestic spheres that each contain a realm of its own civilizations, peoples, and secrets. Within each realm is a color pool, that connects to one or more adjacent realms. Realms are revealed to the PCs as they pass through the color pool.
Summoning a Tesseract
If you land someplace unpleasant, roll 1d6. This is how much MP and how may rounds it takes to summon a tesseract, which will randomly transport you to another realm in the Veil. But beware! There’s a 1 in 12 chance that you’ll be sent to deadly elemental space!
Finding Tezirah
Your party must locate the banished psychic witch Tezirah, who possesses ancient knowledge necessary to defeat the Enders who are destroying your world.
But Tezirah is legendarily treacherous, and you need to come prepared. Each color pool you discover gains you 1 hold to learning her true location. And NPCs whose problems you solve along the way create narrative advantage that can be used in your final confrontation.
