My Story

Where we go, few will return. The road will be long and treacherous, full of death and danger. The beast would've taken my life if it had enough time. I will avenge myself on it, if it's the last thing I do.

Captain Cutter

Heir-apparent to the throne of Mordaine, Cutter Varsany is the youngest son of Mord, who was the Lord of Mordaine and the de facto leader of the Dread Legion prior to his death.

Cutter's brother, Reyn Varsany, held the claim to the throne of Mordaine after his father's death. However, when Cutter's brother was murdered by Rhansmarc the Cruel during an excursion of the Dread Legion into the Northern Wastes, Rhansmarc usurped control of the Dread Legion.

Cutter is man of few words. He is described by those who serve under him as a severe but fair, brutal but loyal, singleminded but clever. His prowess in combat and survival is unmatched in all the kingdoms of men.

Adventure Hook

Captain Cutter needs a crew to return to the Northern Wastes and complete the mission he and his brother originally embarked upon. The powerful artifact he seeks is a symbol of power that can unite the fyrds of Mordaine against Rhansmarc the Cruel. The road will be long and perilous, and few will survive the journey there and back. How can he convince the party to help him? What does he possess that they desperately need?
