My Story
This smooth-talking Arcadian mercenary is a Retainer Master who regularly commands expeditionary parties to seek out buried treasure or provide "smart" muscle for Syndicate employers. Felix is quickwitted and has a penchant for regularly outliving his usefuless.
Felix has had many masters of his own over the course of his career. As a youth, he was shipped off to the Academy at Dexien in the hopes that Imperial discipline would straighten him out, but his tenure there did not last long. He's done dirty jobs for the Syndicate, the Dread Legion, and the sultanate in Mamara, but ultimately excelled in the service of the Retainers.
Felix travels with a clockwerk companion, Edwin Graves-Harrington.
Adventure Hook
Felix is the sort of NPC that can be both a boon and a bane to any adventuring party. When he is an ally, he always offers opportunity (at a cost); when he is an adversary, he always keeps some leverage in his back pocket to protect himself from getting off'd. Either way, Felix should be a recurring character who opens up bigger adventures or leaves the PCs in a tigher spot than they bargained for.
