When the heat is on, time slows down for you as you enter a state of extreme focus. When you use this stance, you have the initiative over anyone taking combat action in the round.

You hunker down against the hordes, mustering all your might to become a shield against all harm. When you use this stance, you may attempt an unlimited number of parries (one per attack) in the round from the start until its end, but you cannot move or take any other actions.

You shield yourself to magical peril, reflecting the arcane energy to its source with your shield, weapon, or bare hands. You may reflect any magical peril (including spells) to their source as long as you have not acted in the round by parrying vs. the TN of the peril or the opposing spellcaster's spell check with your weapon or shield. You may only parry once in the round when using this stance, and must sacrifice any other parries available to you to use this stance.

Your incredible focus is a form of mind over matter, enabling you to endure physical exertion for near-supernatural lengths of time. As an action, you can perform any strenuous physical activity for a number of intervals equal to your Mighty, but each interval is many times what an ordinary person is capable of. For example, if your Mighty is 6, a normal adventurer might be able to hold a plank for 6 minutes; you can hold it for 6 hours. You may you opt to take 1 HP of subdual damage per interval to extend your activity beyond your Mighty, until you fall unconscious.
