Any Graybreaker worth her salt knows it’s better business to pay someone to do the dirty work than to do it yourself.

Jane Graybreaker

An infamous guildmaster whose name is sometimes synonymous with the Graybreakers itself, Jane is known internationally for her shrewdness in business and ruthless skullduggery. The elderly rogue ascended to the rank of Guildmaster of Arcanum at a young age, outwitting all those who opposed her rise with daggers to the throat and deceit in the dark.

Those who know Jane personally understand that she operates best when she's had a few drinks in her, and her temper is something to be reckoned with. It is not known whether Jane is one of the guild's mysterious Operators, or whether she serves one of them on the chain of command. Few get close enough to ask her such questions.

Adventure Hook

For a party of rogues, Jane Graybreaker can serve as a taskmaster, offering the party missions in exchange for gold that range from infiltrating rival hideouts to assassinating troublesome politicans. As the party succeeds on their missions, Jane will send them more daunting leads, however the party may realize that Jane is up to something that can compromise the entire Graybreaker operation. Is she trying to unseat a rival Operator, or is she a double agent working for the Metropolitan Police? It's up to the party to figure out her true motives, and beat her at her own game.
