Anti-Lodestone

Description

These spheres of negative energy are not natural to the material realm, but mad psychics have been known to pluck them from the Astral Veil and contain them in magical sheaths. Unlike a lodestone, an anti-lodestone saps energy in an area of influence equal to its strength: 1) personal space, 2) melee space, 3) encounter space; the presence of a single anti-lodestone negates the energy supplied by a normal lodestone, no matter its size or strength. If unsheathed, the anti-lodestone expands to fill its area of influence with magical darkness, and everything inside is instantly transported to a random void in the Astral Veil.
