You summon to your command a hivemind of your choosing. The volume of hiveminded creatures is equal to the spell's area of effect and the type of hivemind depends on where the spell is cast (an urban setting might summon rats, whereas a woodland setting might summon birds or insects). If the hivemind is used to cause harm, choose a maleficence of equivalent peril to deal damage to all those in the area of effect, once upon its summoning. The hivemind cannot be dispersed by mundane means and has no HP.

You bend your maleficence into a protective circle of magic. All those hostile to you or your target must make an opposed spell check to physically enter the circle; its benefits extend to all who remain within its boundaries. The circle does not protect you from ranged attacks or other magic cast from outside it. You must concentrate on working the circle against your opponents for the spell's duration, or else they may pass inside unhindered. A Circle of Protection's area of effect may not exceed a melee space.

You draw a circle of power equal to the area of effect to summon a demonic spirit within its confines. The demonic spirit possesses 1d6 spells chosen at random, which the spellcaster may command the demon to cast as a bonus action. The demon has the same attributes as you, 1d6 HP, an Arcana skill of your choosing, and 3 MP per MP spent to cast the spell. Its maleficence is random. At the end of each round, make an escalating spell check (TN 7) or else the demon breaks free and turns against you.

You or your targets can magically comprehend 1 language per MP spent, spoken or written, and may converse or write freely in it as if you were fluent for 1 hour per MP spent, even if it is physically impossible for you to do so. Encrypted languages or arcane scripts guarded by magic may be interpreted by this spell with the GM's discretion, but can usually be attempted with a relevant check due to the spell empowering the spellcaster with such magical comprehension.

You conjure into existence a rainbow of color that serves as a physical bridge between two locations within the area of effect. All those standing within a personal space of the bridge's starting point are carried to the bridge's endpoint, and the bridge may be crossed side-by-side by as many people as can fit in a personal space.

You or your target can telepathically communicate with 1 type of animal per MP spent, and may converse with creatures of this type for 1 hour per MP spent. Communication is possible even if the animal does not have a language or is not intelligent (plants, for example).
