Your life has been shaped by a tragic event that caused you great harm. You seek to avenge yourself on the perpetrators and find peace and reconciliation.
You need it. You want it. Your dark addiction frequently takes control. (This includes alcoholism, drug, and sex addictions.)
Talent
You take an additional +2 damage from magical sources and have disadvantage on any check to resist magic. You have advantage on Mighty. In lieu of moving on your turn, you can glide or leap the same distance with your wings.
Technique
For 2 MP, you may gain advantage on any roll of your choice (except attack rolls). You also start with 4 fate points instead of 3. When you switch stances, it does not cost you MP, and you may choose a stance at character creation. The maximum amount of fate points you can accrue is 4.
kit
You have been trained as a weapon for a specific cause. You gain legendary resistance against all enemies of that cause. For 2 MP, you may soak 2 points from any single source of damage. Damage absorbed in this way stacks with your other source(s) of soak.

Battle Poise
Combat
Your sprightly poise keeps you on your toes, even when your foes would knock you to your knees. If you are knocked prone, you instant-stand back to your feet as a reaction. While using this stance, you are not subject to attacks of opportunity, and you're never disadvantaged from positional combat, such as rear or stealth attacks.

Empty Hand Technique
Passive
Your training in the empty hand technique mixes mystical insight with physical form. When you successfully attack an opponent with an unarmed attack, choose a weapon class you're skilled in and you may add its damage to the unarmed damage you normally deal. You must spend 1 MP for each point of damage that exceeds your normal unarmed damage. In addition, your bare hands function as magical weapons.
Goliath Stance
Active
A life of rough adventure has made you tougher than you appear. As a reaction to receiving lethal damage, you gain extra HP equal to your Mighty attribute. The HP are temporary and cannot be recovered after they are lost, and only persist until the end of the scene in which you use this stance.
Smite
Active
You charge your weapon with the glorious wrath of your patron. When you successfully attack your opponent, you deal an additional 1d6 damage as a maleficence matching your own (if you do not have a maleficence, then it is divine). In order to channel the wrath of your patron, you must commit to attacking at the start of the round, and cannot move. Only one attack may be charged in this way, if you have more than one available to you in the round.
