Description
This formidable weapon looks as if its steel has been freshly plucked from the forge and glows with a dim orange light. By word of command, you may activate the weapon to radiate a globe of sunlight that dispels magical darkness and deals 1d6 damage to all negative energy beings (such as Undead) in a melee space. At will, you may cause the weapon to glow with the equivalent of lantern light—this light can be dimmed by thought from a melee space to a personal space in diameter. Unless sheathed, the metal of the weapon is always dangerously hot to the touch (dealing cumulative 1 damage if left in contact with a victim for more than a round), and can ignite flammable objects by touch.
