High Imperial

Description

The Arcadian language, also known as High Imperial, is widely spoken throughout the Arcadian provinces, and is derived from ancient Muraian, though the aristocracy prefers to de-emphasize its relationship to the High People. High Imperial contains a number of regional dialects and a complex, hierarchical series of liturgical offshoots maintained by the Inquisitors in the Congress of Judges and the scholars in the Library of Ambion.
